Careprost Eye Drops belong to a class of ocular hypotensive drugs and are used as a prescribed treatment for open glaucoma. This solution is also prescribed as a treatment of high pressure in the eyes while the most popular use of this eye drops is to promote a healthy growth of eyelashes. It is a solution of a concentration of 0.03% of bimatoprost, a prostaglandin analog. The Careprost eye drops containing Bimatoprost Ophthalmic Solution prevent the degeneration of the optic nerve of the eyes and lowers the risk of eye damage.
This Eye Drops have gained huge precedence as a fail-safe way to grow longer, darker and thicker eyelashes. Women especially have started making use of the Bimatoprost solution for aiding the growth of their eyelashes.
Aqueous humor, the layer of a transparent liquid that covers the eyes' front has to be regularly produced and drained for the long-term health of our eyes. If this aqueous humor is not drained away as quickly as it is required, then the eyes experience a strain or pressure. If it happens regularly, this effect will degenerate the optical nerve and end up in giving you glaucoma.
The Bimatoprost solution speeds up the drainage of the aqueous humor and treats Glaucoma by reducing the strain on the eyes. It makes the eyelashes grow by aiding in the growth of the hair follicles of the eyelashes.
A 3 ml bottle of Careprost contains 0.03% of Bimatoprost, purified water, citric acid monohydrate and sodium phosphate dibasic along with preservatives benzalkonium and PH balance regulators such as hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide.

- How does Careprost work for you?
The active ingredient in the eyelash grower of Careprost is called Bimatoprost.
Research suggests that eyelash growth occurs by increasing the percentage of hair in the duration of the anagen (or growth) phase of the hair follicle. Bimatoprost can prolong this phase of growth, so you'll get longer lashes. It also grows to generate extra lashes, so that your lashes get fuller.
- Is Careprost safe to use?
Indeed, Careprost is safe for use.
Bimatoprost, an active ingredient, was first approved in 2001 as a medical device for reducing intraocular pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Patients treated with bimatoprost for this particular eye condition reported eyelash development as a side effect.
- How long does it take to see the effects of Careprost? Is it permanent?
You can see results at 4 weeks of dedicated use with full results at 12 to 16 weeks. Growth is slow and time-consuming. Once you avoid using it, the eyelashes are expected to return to their previous appearance for several weeks or months. The lashes will continue to grow without shedding as they would usually do when using Careprost. When the maximum period of maintenance is achieved, it should be performed 2-3 days a week to sustain the results.
- Is Careprost a mascara substitute?
Through daily use, Careprost will grow your natural eyelashes longer, fuller, thicker and darker-just for the same reason that we use mascara.
Nevertheless, if you want to see even more dramatic effects, you can still apply mascara while using Careprost. Check out our waterproof masks, the perfect combination for beautiful eyes.

It is necessary to apply the solution only to the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes using the applicator and carefully remove any excess from the eyelid margin to avoid running onto the cheek or other areas of the face.

Do not try to catch up if you miss an application or a few. Only apply the Careprost on the next night and remain on track.

- What are the ingredients for this? And who's not supposed to use it?
Active ingredient: Bimatoprost 0.03 per cent Inactive ingredients: benzalconium chloride; sodium chloride; sodium phosphate, dibasic; citric acid; and purified water. You can apply sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to change the pH. Do not use Careprost / Bimat solution if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
- What's a skin hyperpigmentation?
Hyperpigmentation is a normal, generally harmless disorder in which areas of the skin are darker than the color of the surrounding skin. It happens when melanin, a brown pigment that causes normal skin color, is increased in the skin. Hyperpigmentation of the skin is a possible side effect, but may be reversible after discontinuation of the drug. Use Careprost only as directed-one drop per sterile applicator, per hand, at bedtime.
- What should I do if I have eye itching?
Eye itching may occur immediately after use. Consult your local physician if scratching continues or if you experience any other signs. When you develop a new eye condition (e.g. trauma or infection), experience a sudden drop in visual acuity, have eye surgery, or have any eye reactions, especially conjunctivitis and eyelid reactions, you should seek advice from your doctor immediately.
- Are there any other alerts or concerns that I need to know about?
Careprost is meant to be used on the skin of the upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. Don't refer to the lower eyelid. If you are using other drugs of the same class for increased intraocular pressure (IOP) or if you have a history of elevated IOP, you should use Careprost only under the close supervision of your local physician. Careprost can cause darkening of the eyelid skin, which may be reversible. Careprost may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye, which is likely to be permanent.
Hair growth can occur in other areas of your skin that are often affected by Careprost. Any residual fluid outside the upper eyelid margin should be clogged with tissue or other absorbent material to reduce the chance of this happening. A variation in eyelash length, thickness, fullness, pigmentation, number of eyelash hairs, and/or direction of eyelash growth may also occur between the eyes. Such variations, if they exist, will usually go away if you avoid using Careprost.
- What, if any, of the side effects to know with Careprost?
The most common side effects following the use of Careprost are eye and/or eye redness scratching sensations identified in approximately 4 percent of users. These can occur immediately after use, but should normally last only for a short period of time. Eye itching and eye redness are not allergic reactions and do not mean that your eyes are damaged. However, if eye redness occurs, you can avoid using the drug immediately and seek advice from your local physician.
Careprost can cause other less common side effects that usually occur on the skin close to where Careprost is used or in the eyes. These include eye irritation, dry eyes, and redness of the eyelids. Skin darkening (or hyperpigmentation) is another less frequent side effect. This condition causes the parts of the skin to become darker than the hue of the surrounding skin. Increased brown iris pigmentation occurred when similar medications were injected directly into the eye to treat elevated intraocular pressure / glaucoma. While iris pigmentation has not been documented in clinical studies, patients should be aware of the potential for increased brown iris pigmentation that is likely to be permanent.
If you develop a new eye condition (e.g., trauma or infection), experience a sudden drop in visual acuity, have eye surgery, or have any eye reactions, especially conjunctivitis and eyelid reactions, you should stop using the drug immediately and seek advice from your local physician.
- Can Careprost Bimatoprost be applied to the eyebrows for the growth of thicker and darker eyebrows?

"It works, plain and simple." By spending $100, I actually look great. Thank you very much.

"Haters are going to hate..." This service is the real deal, and the website price is by far the highest online, so many businesses are taking advantage of the fact that this item is not available and charging ridiculous prices. It is very powerful and lifts your lashes easily, no other product comes close to this price range. People we're making stupid comments about this website's look and confidence but don't pay attention, I've been buying from this site for years and they've never let me down. I can only condemn this product because it can make your eyes bright, but it is a price to pay for beautiful lashes that this product offers you, however the moment you stop saying bye bye to your lashes.

"Careprost" This product is awesome
Review by Lee Sant
"It works for me, long lashes & no eye color change" I've got hazel green eyes and used a few years of careprost. My eyes are the same color as you would with Latisse, no discernible brown color. AND it makes my lashes even shorter. Regular falls take 5-6 weeks, but it does work. Your hair growth is cyclical, so you need to keep up with maintenance falls when your lashes are long. I'm using it every day. You'll probably notice that after a while, your lashes are returning to being long, that's normal. Start back with the drops every day (or even twice) until you see your lashes again long.

"Careprost works!" I've been using it for at least five years or more. Women are always complimenting me on my eyelashes. Make sure you use it every night when you first use it. You can cut back to 3-4 days a week once you see the growth of the lash.
